“Big Shots” Star Gets In a New Avatar
Michael Vartan is all set to enact a role alongside his former girlfriend. This corporate giant from the “Big Shots” is now going to play a doctor in TNT’s new drama ‘HawthoRNe’ He must definitely love this new assignment as he has been put along his ex girlfriend Jennifer Garner.
While being interviewed on this new assignment “Big Shots“ star put forward his views for the premature cancellation of this TV show. Michael Vartan said, “To be perfectly honest, I think they kind of missed the boat on that show. The concept was really interesting. That’s what attracted me to the project, that and the obviously very talented cast, but about six or seven episodes in, I actually had this moment of, hang on a second … here are these four guys, best friends since childhood, and not once have we talked about cars, chicks or sports. All we talked about is our relationships. And there’s nothing wrong with that, because guys do talk about their relationships, but that’s all we ever talked about. And so that’s when we started thinking, “Hey, are we missing something here?” It definitely was ‘Desperate Housewives’ for men.”
I respect the views of Michael Vartan on “Big Shots” but in my opinion the show had enough ingredients to make it a winner in the long run. Even for an airplane to take off, the speed is accelerated in stages. A TV show always takes time to rise in its popularity and this television show is no exception. If Michael Vartan thought that there was something missing, he could have anytime put his thoughts in front of the production team. In due time, these missing ingredients could have been incorporated into the main plot.
Just like every comedy show has its own concept to produce humor, in the same way the friendship between corporate stalwarts and their complex personal lives gave us an interesting television drama to watch. There is always scope for any TV show to include several parallel sequences to make it more interesting and sustain the audiences’ interest in the show and “Big Shots” still had plenty of time on its hands. Hoping my article is an eye opener for the producers of this convincing television drama and they reconsider its cancellation.

It is a great Drama by Warner Brothers. And In this all characters are good but mostly I like James. James is played by Michael and he did very well.
