It is a well known fact that corporates run the chariot of a nation’s economy. The ups and downs of the corporate world are what keep the world markets rising and tumbling. As they buy, they produce, they sell, they deliver, and in fact rule the economic world it is quite imaginable why they have such a great impact on every aspect of living.

However, there is another facet of corporates that is generally hidden from the general public. It was this facet of the corporate world that Big Shots tried to bring to the fore. It was one TV show that presented before us an entirely different perspective of the corporate world.

Big Shots told the story about a group of CEO’s, who were pioneers in their field but faced the same kind of problems in their professional and personal life, as any common man. We always tend to envision big corporates to be a part of a fantasy world where they face no problem. But the fact is that they too have their own issues to settle, just like any other common man. They too find it hard to make smooth shifts between personal and professional lives.

Many TV shows based on the corporate theme have come and gone, but only some of them have been able to make a permanent mark in our memories. Big Shots was certainly one show of such kind. How many shows have dared to venture into the domain that Big Shots not only entered but also explored? The answer is quiet simple, not many.

Anyone who has watched Big Shots has always given me a positive response on the show. Unfortunately, it had only one season and I always wonder why it was not continued. But we can still relive the Big Shots experience, as this website allows the user to download all the episodes of the show. “Big shots” the title of the series, is basically a slang word used for very important or influential people. So, the series deals with the lives of four such very important people in their own fields, whose lives gets all messed up when a woman enters in their lives. Struggling hard to catch up with their lives, their personal lives become all the more important as compared to their professional lives.

Generally, the series have been compared to the hit series “Desperate housewives”. The only difference between the two that this was about the housewives and their all exciting, thrilling experiences. And this is about these high profile people, and their ways of balancing their professional and personal lives.

Well, the series is all about these four best friends, who are at the top position as far as their career is concerned, but are too dependent on one another, when it comes to sharing, discussing business, confiding secrets or seeking advices. They all enjoy all the benefits of holding a good position in society and engage themselves in leisure activities like sauna, pool, golf and the like. All goes well in their life, until the woman enters in their life…

James Walker, a committed husband. All his dreams of a good marriage come to an end, when he comes to face to reality. The discovery about the affair, between his wife and his dead boss, leaves him all shattered. Eventually filing in for a divorce and his taking refuge in his VP Katie.

Duncan Collinsworth, already divorced, but somehow the spark hasn’t ended yet. He plans to get back with his first wife. But things didn’t work the way he wanted. A rumor, which actually is his truth, could turn his life upside down.

Karl Mixworthy, a nervous CEO. Has a loving wife, but out of some reasons, had an affair, which he ended quickly. But his ex-mistress, who is a witty woman, enters his life again as his wife’s best friend. And on top of all, moves to his house, making things terrible for him.

Brody Johns, successful at work, but not in the eyes of his wife. Three of his friends look up to him whenever in trouble.

This is the story of “Big Shots”, almost all the characters have one or two sub plot, but the directors have made it a point to not mix their stories with each other.
